Dates for the 2024 International Custom Rod Building Exposition are February 24 and 25, 2024

Long considered the cultural center of the entire Southeast, Winston-Salem is a modern day success story. Faced with the decline in tobacco and textile manufacturing, the city has reinvented itself as a multi-cultural arts center. The past few years has seen a complete revitalization of its center city downtown, which now features dozens of hotels, restaurants, shops, theaters, nightclubs and museums.

Attendees to the Expo will find several world class hotels, restaurants and shops within only a one to four block walk of the Benton Convention Center facility.  The main Expo recommended hotels, the Marriot and Embassy Suites, are located directly across the street from the Convention Center. An underground walkway provides weather proof transit to the Expo on Saturday morning!

No car? No problem. Once you arrive at either the Embassy Suites or Marriot, you are within walking distance of no less than two dozen top level restaurants and shops, many of which are located within the hotels themselves. Park the car and forget it - you won’t need it until you’re ready to return home!

Winston-Salem is a reborn, vibrant city with both unique and historical aspects all within walking distance of the downtown twin-city quarter.
